Our Corporate Banking client in London is looking for a Relationship Support Officer to join their Commercial Banking department in the London office.
The main purpose of the role is to manage the middle office functions and roles in Commercial Banking acting as a primary interface between the front office and back office in delivering customer expectations.
This role reports to the Head of Commercial Banking .
- Assisting to review Relationship Managers (RM) payment log daily for status
- Help to coordinate and respond to all payment referrals for Signature irregularities, insufficient balance and forex conversion
- Help to prepare customer anniversary reports and ensure they are delivered timely
- Assist to manage and update relationship management dashboard reports ? Account opening, outstanding deferrals etc.
-Work directly with the Relationship Support Manager to ensure all compliance queries are responded to promptly.
-Review account dormancy and funding reports, working with the RMs to ensure clients are proactively contacted to regularise their accounts.
-Help ensure all mortgage customers have updated property insurance policy Responsible to respond to walk in calls / email enquires
Skills and knowledge:
Minimum one years experience in a similar role within banking industry
A Degree is desirable but not mandatory
Knowledge of operations/back office skills Microsoft Office systems proficient
Strong communication skill
Experience in managing internal stakeholders, collaborate with own team and other employees.
The ability to work under your own initiative and to strict deadlines;
Excellent communication skills both orally and in writing;
Proficient MS Office skills (Word, Excel and Power Point expertise essential).
Have excellent organisational skills with a methodical approach to their work
Highly literate and numerate, with excellent grammar and spelling skills.
