On behalf of our client, we seek to recruit a Relationship Manager on permanent basis for their Leeds Branch/ Business Centre to be responsible in developing branchs good quality corporate business, marketing and delivering sales of corporate products and services.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Acquire good quality business banking customers across the below identified segments in your catchment areas
Build and execute a tactical plan to achieve the budgeted objectives of new customer acquisitions, income generation
Work diligently on the client level data provided centrally, by meeting the clients
Daily client engagements
Active participation in community events, industry forums to generate new business opportunities
Furnish daily business information to the reporting authority
Record and report all client engagements to the reporting authority on a daily basis in a manner asked for by the reporting authority
Liaise with the internal stakeholders, introducers and existing customers to originate referrals for new customer acquisition
Manage existing customer relationships to cross sell / up sell business banking products generating fee and interest income
Use effective marketing and sales promotional tools for raising the banks profile in the target segment, which ultimately result in opening new business opportunities for the bank
Processing of all documentation for on-boarding and servicing of customers in line with the processes defined by the bank
Liaise with the base branch / branches to ensure high levels of servicing to the clients
Understand and comply with the Banks policies and procedures, especially, Conduct risk, customer profiling, risk assessment, know your customer, anti-money laundering policies and procedures of the Bank
Assist in designing, reviewing and enhancing products and policies in line with the strategic business objectives
Oversee the infrastructure requirements of the business centres in coordination with the facilities team of the bank
Skills and knowledge:
Must have business banking, SME or trade finance experience.
Graduate or Postgraduate
Sound understanding and prior experience of managing SME and/or Business clients
Selling, Negotiating, Networking and Relationship Management skills.
Strong presentation skills; ability to communicate with all levels in an organization.
Disciplined approach to documentation, deal execution and client follow up.
Self-motivated and self-driven
Good interpersonal skills and team player
Willingness to travel
Functional knowledge of FX markets, trade finance (letter of credit, bank guarantees, LCs, documentary collections)
** Must have own vehicle as they will be driving to visit clients, all expenses will be reimbursed**
