Our client a well-established commodity trading company seeks an Banking HR Training and Infrastructural Co-Ordinator based in London. This role will be responsible for supporting the creation of our client Development Programme. The training programme will focus on the next generation of managers globally (junior managers / mid managers) that are identified as high potential, emerging talent or selected management trainees.
The position at a high level will be responsible for:
? Key part of the role on a global basis is overseeing, managing, creating, coordinating consistent instructional design and curriculum development for the Programme. Hands on course design and development a primary focus.
? Creating instructionally effective and engaging training courses/modules on the programme.
? Overseeing and creating course program timings, global locations over a multi-year process.
? Developing the learning programme.
? Overseeing ongoing training records administration on participants.
? A Bachelors degree in business, instructional design or related field required OR equivalent working experience.
? Working, proven knowledge of adult learning principles.
? Ideally 5-7 years experience in:
? Assessing training / course needs.
? Identifying SMEs both internally within an organization and externally based on identified training needs.
? (Primary focus) instructional design and curriculum development with analyzing, designing, developing, implementing and evaluating instructional materials including comprehensive knowledge of current instructional design methodology and multimedia.
? Ability to work individually with SMEs to design and develop appropriate learning content with minimal supervision required.
? Proven ability to storyboard or translate ideas to develop innovative courses.
? Blended learning training experience in design, delivery and evaluation with equal expertise in designing instructor led and eLearning courses (e.g. computer based training / web-based training) in supporting / managing global training programs.
? Establishing training program timelines; identifying training locations and facilities.
? Project planning and project management and ability to manage / coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
? Experience with design of training assessments to measure mastery of learning outcomes and course feedback.
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
? Attention to detail in producing, writing, proofing all coursework materials to ensure consistency in form, format and function in a timely manner.
? Experience with Learning Management Systems e.g. training platform, course pathing, system enhancements, course development, etc. (e.g. SuccessFactors, etc.).
? Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals and web based programs.
? Excellent interpersonal with a collaborative approach to identifying opportunities and solving problems. Strong business acumen and an entrepreneurial attitude.
? Strong analytical skills.
? Minimum 5 years experience/working knowledge of technology products, including relevant graphics / course authoring tools (e.g. Captivate, etc.), as well as strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
? Fluent in English required (verbal / written); Spanish preferable.
