On behalf of our client, an international bank based in London, we are looking for a Senior Associate with a background in KYC to join their Financial Institutes team. Responsibilities will include: On-boarding of New Relationship and Periodic Review of all FI relationships as mandated and Monitoring alerts for trigger events requiring Review of Relationship New Account Opening for FI’s and initiating the Review process as and when due. Periodic Transaction monitoring of Nostro/Vostro accounts Assist with execution and later undertake periodic review of various Agreements initiated by the Bank or provided by other banks by liaising with Departments internally. Arrange and attend meetings with other banks, recording of Meeting in online Portal, produce reports and undertake required actions for relationship developments. Assist in updating of policies and procedures as and when required in consultation with Line Manager. Data gathering and preparing reports for Head Office as well as here at London. Maintaining and updating record for any job requiring such data base in Excel Masterfile ,online portal , hard & soft copies As part of team to ensure compliance of any internal legal & compliance guidelines or regulatory requirement. Liaise with internal and external auditors on points raised for the department. Working on other projects as and when required Required Knowledge Working knowledge of SWIFT platform & Finacle Core Working Knowledge of Trade Finance products eg Trade Loan Good knowledge of current KYC compliance requirements for FI’s and its impact on bank to bank relationships. Basic knowledge of wholesale and treasury products such as REPO, Bankers’ Acceptances, FX, Money Market, derivatives, bilateral and MTNs. Basic knowledge of Credit & Syndication Knowledge of the channels of Correspondent Banking. Ability to learn new regulations and translate them into policies and procedures.
