Loan Documentation Officer - 12 MFTC

An established city based Investment Bank are looking for an experienced Loan Documentation Officer to join their Deal Closing and Portfolio Monitoring department. The purpose of the Deal Closing and Portfolio Monitoring department is to (but not limited to) Control transactions to ensure that they are fully compliant with the authorizations given and requirements made by the Credit Committee, at both structuring and implementation stages. Assess and manage operational risks in liaison with the Risk Department Carry out transaction monitoring until maturity Provide support and expertise to the Front Office at all stages during the life of a transaction, as well as provide the Back Office with thoroughly documented instructions Monitor that all regulatory and compliance obligations have been carried out within their designated timeframe. As such it offers both first level control to secure business development and provides the Business Lines with business support thanks to its technical expertise in the setting up of transactions and day to day management. Key Skills Required: Specific understanding and experience of handling Facility and Security Agent roles. This will include systems such as DebtDomain, ClearPar etc. Facility documentation knowledge is essential, especially the treatment/monitoring of financial covenants and security packages. Strong decision-making capabilities and the ability to identify problems and propose solutions and then follow through any raised issues to the relevant parties when needed. Proactive with the ability to deliver value-added support to business partners in a dependable, timely and accurate manner. Demonstrates flexibility and willingness to accept new assignments and challenges in a rapidly changing environment. Good communication and relationship/partnership-building skills both with team members as well as other business partners. Ability to interact confidently with all levels of stakeholders. Strong attention to detail with a control and risk discipline mind-set, takes ownership and is accountable for area of responsibility.
