On behalf of our client an International Bank base in the City we are looking to recruit for a IT Operations Support. The main focus for this position would be completing daily operational tasks on AS/400, SWIFT, Microsoft platforms & telecommunications. 1st Line support assisting branch users with Microsoft products and call escalation of issues, to overseas support centers. Supporting branch users in disaster recovery. Responsibilities: AS/400 and EximBills Complete operation Start of day for departments and reporting any issues to overseas support Production and distribute of I-series AS/400 reports to users. Equation system housekeeping. p Sort out branch users input records for scanning. Changing passwords. Update daily exchange rates provided by dealers. Update interest rates as per Branch Manager's memorandum. Prepare and update FX Position reports and sent them to Head Office. Assist EDP Manager on users' requests for assistance. SWIFT Check all SWIFT forms submitted by originating sections to ensure that they have been properly authorized and adder to branch procedure's on Money laundering and that in cases are approved by compliance before transmitting payment on the SWIFT network. Check to make sure that rejected messages (NAK) are promptly reported to the originating sections so that any corrective action can meet SLA (service level agreement). Distribute SWIFT confirmations of outgoing messages to originating sections. Distribute all incoming messages to relevant sections or departments. Record both incoming and outgoing SWIFT messages in registered books. Record both incoming and outgoing fax messages in registered books. Verify incoming and fax messages if they require test key authentication. Distribute incoming messages to relevant sections/ departments. Assist Head of EDP on the following: Branch's Internet operations, telephone / photocopier / scanning systems. o Dealing room's support for Reuters, Bloomberg, etc. Disaster Recovery testing, network communications implementation & testing, IT & SWIFT upgrades. A Voice recorder operations.
