A leading International Bank are looking for an Associate, Financial Modelling Analytics to join the Project Finance Team. The Project Finance team specialise in Advisory and debt arrangement for the non-recourse and limited recourse financing of long-term, capital intensive projects across power & renewables, infrastructure, natural resources, and housing finance. The Main purpose of the role is to providing modelling support to enable the development, execution and management of project finance across sectors Key responsibilities: Design and build intermediate/complex models in respect of project/structured finance transactions. Respond to day-to-day queries raised by client/other banks in respect of the financial model and attend client meetings. Review models prepared by clients and other financial institutions, applying appropriate stress tests in conjunction with the originating deal team. Work with colleagues in the Credit function to co-ordinate the production of cash flow analysis papers to inform investment decisions. Liaise with clients at a counterpart level to relay specific information and respond to routine queries ensuring a high level of customer service. Essential skills, experience & competencies: 2-5 years of project finance model building experience. Previous experience of financial modelling in a big four firm, sponsor, bank or similar financial institution. Strong financial modelling experience and excel skills Able to build Project Finance models from scratch Good experience of managing project finance model build and launch process and experience of managing the various stakeholders with respect to the model Good grasp of financial accounting combined with a level of business awareness and a strong understanding of the kind of factors that can drive the financial performance of a project financing. Sound IT knowledge and skills. Good communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to build credible relationships at all levels.
