Associate, Private Equity

On behalf of our client, a leading asset management firm based in London, we are currently looking for a Private Equity Associate to join their team on a permanent basis. Scope and Responsibilities: The Associate will work within the Private Equity/Infrastructure Transactions Team. he candidate will assist across the entire deal execution process with particular focus on financial modelling, valuation, structuring of investments, market / regulatory research, evaluating and screening investment opportunities, due diligence coordination, preparation of technical and financial data to stakeholders and ad-hoc analysis. The associate will be involved in both the execution of new equity investments as well as exits of existing investments. Knowledge and Experience Required: ? Strong knowledge and experience within the renewable energy or power industry sectors is essential ? Extensive financial modelling capabilities and experience underwriting and executing investments ? Good understanding of key transaction documents ? Experience with the day-to-day management of the execution process ? Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships internally and externally ? Ability to deliver outputs in a timely manner ? Expectation management i.e. keeping team fully informed and updated as to delivery timetables and conflicts of priorities Education: Minimum of 3 - 5 years financial modelling and investment experience Previous experience in an investment bank, Corporate Bank or Private Equity firm desirable European language skills desirable Please send a copy of you CV to or call Paul Ridley on 0207 972 9464
