IT Administrator - Fluent Mandarin

It is essential that all candidates applying have at least 3 years UK work experience and at least 2 years IT Administrator experience. Sponsorship is not provided with this role. Our client is looking for a fluent Mandarin IT Administrator to join their team on a 12 month FTC basis. This role includes every Sunday night (7:00pm Sunday to 2:00 am Monday) remote health check and system monitoring. Then 3 days in office and 1 day WFH. The IT Administrator will assist the network and security manager in the administration and maintenance of IT equipment through the support of the user population, HO application, desktop applications and underlying operating systems. Key Responsibilities (but not limited to): Assist in the admin of IT equipment and IT Department. Responsible for maintaining and monitoring the network, telephony, server, storage, desktop operating systems and desktop applications. Responsible for on call service for incident management. Responsible for IT service management including on-site support for users. Responsible for New Joiner and leaver IT processes according to procedures. Responsible for managing the IT assets. Ensure that Information Security Standards are maintained across all IT assets. Co-ordinate day-to-day IT checks and operational procedures according to defined standards processes and procedures. Ensure that IT meets the required security and service levels along with other relevant corporate objectives. Communicate IT systems and controls to other groups as appropriate. Ensure close collaboration with global groups as and when appropriate. Participate in Infrastructure rollout project work when required. Maintain relevant IT support process or procedure. Produce IT support management reports regularly. Provide out of hours support if there is incident or other emergency scenarios Skills, Experience and Qualifications: Previous IT support experience include network, desktop, phones, windows 10, GPO are required. Experience about general IT infrastructure such as system monitoring, network, database management, business requirements analysis, storage management, data backup, information security are preferred. Educated to degree level preferred. Strong written and verbal skills in both English and Mandarin.
