Credit Admin /Credit Analyst -1 year FTC

Our client a Leading International Banking Group is looking for a Credit Admin, Credit Analyst to join their team on a one-year fixed term contract with intention of being a permanent position. Our client works from office and will welcome three days flexible working. The successful candidate will have minimum 5 year experience as a credit analyst in banking environment who is flexible team player and able to work under the pressure of time sensitive deadlines. Responsibilities include but are not limited to : Establishing full records in the appropriate sections of the Bank's books for all information pertaining to facilities for which Credit Department is responsible Weekly reviewing and preparation of statements of loan versus collateral check. Review and advise any breach of Financial Covenant(s) in the Facility Agreements and to follow up with the borrowers and charge default interest as the case may be. To analyse the financial accounts and audited reports including (Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Accounts and Cash Flow analysis) for inclusion in Credit Application for submission to Credit Committee and subsequent submission to Board of Directors (where appropriate). Preparation of credit application for lending proposals for all corporate and any Sovereign loans (New Business,Amendments and Annual Reviews of existing facilities). To analyse the financial accounts and audited reports Annual reviews of existing facilities, including amendments and periodic reviews of all loan facilities outstanding in Bank's accounts Monthly reporting from core banking system for inclusion in the monthly pack Deputising for the Credit Manager at Credit Committee. This will include minute taking, and close liaison with other departments, personnel within the bank to meet tight deadlines. Skills and knowledge: Good experience conducting credit analysis of Corporates; Good experience conducting credit analysis of Financial Institutions; Project finance experience; Experience of syndicated lending; Good understanding of loan documentation; Ability to review and recommend change to procedures; Good EXCEL ability; Excellent communications skills, including analysis, presentation both verbal and written, IT literate Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements including AML & Documentation background Banking and Trade Finance experience For more information, please send CV to Sonia Smith at sonia@bhal.co.uk quoting job reference 200801SS.
