AVP EMEA Ops Service Management

Our client is seeking a VP EMEA Operations Service Management Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. Responsibilities (but not limited to): Operations to include, Payments, Corporate Loans, Trade Finance and Treasury. Create and maintain governance framework procedures with EMEA Branches. Challenge irregular handlings and inefficient operation flows and standardize where possible. Function as contact person with regards to any issues and concerns on services provided by service provider including EMEA Operations and offshored/outsourced parties. Identify opportunities for standardisation and obtain agreement from internal and external stakeholders. To implement process improvements and further standardisation of process between EMEA offices. Contribute to further Centralisation projects by gathering available materials to understand current process and system. To perform identified tasks as per plan within required timeline to contribute to achievement of overall goal of the initiative. To manage progress, issues and associated risks and provide status update in a timely manner to ensure visibility of the overall progress. To support team members in delivering the planned outputs not only by giving them guidance but from time to time carry out tasks in case of need. Promoting offshoring/outsourcing initiatives. Skills and Knowledge: Experience of back office operations and/or project management. Skill of issue solving, stakeholder management. Working knowledge of Microsoft products to Intermediate level (Word, Excel etc.). Experience of creating and presenting materials in stakeholder forums (PowerPoint). A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong decision-making skills, with excellent communication (written and verbal skills). Recognise the need for change and the ability to generate new ideas. Educated to at least GCSE Grade C level or equivalent in Maths & English. A Level education or equivalent. Strong numerical skills. Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word & Excel). A strategic approach, with the ability to lead and motivate your team members.
