Our client, an International Bank, is looking for a Deputy Head of Credit Services to join their team in London. Please note that this is a hybrid role, requiring you to be in the office three days a week.
The main purpose of the role is to support the ?Head to facilitate a seamless process under the credit administration function
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
? Effective and Efficient Loan Book Monitoring and Administration
? Use of relevant Reports from T24 for effective Exposure Management
? Temenos T24 Skills set for R21 and R22
? Effective booking, monitoring and management of Credit Exposures
? To provide good leadership to the Credit Administration function
? To maintain effective communications between departments in the delivery of the Credit Administration function
? Ensure all reports are accurate and notify the Head of Credit Services of any exposure excesses daily.
? Check, investigate and balance in a timely fashion the Customer Exposure Reports, Overdrawn Accounts report, identify any anomalies and seek remedial action from the respective departments. When this is completed communicate to management directly.
? Check and monitor all facilities and conditions subsequent and follow all email and other communication trails.
? Investigate and advise the Head of Credit Services of any anomalies or any issues in the department.
? Daily check and attend to all reconciliations.
? Verification of all fees and transactions before any entries passed are forwarded on to the Head of Finance for Authorisation.
? To attend to all issues raised in previous year Audit Report and ensure any issues are resolved and further controls put in place to mitigate any risks in the current year.
? Undertake and Deliver on ad-hoc assignments and projects.
Skills and experience :
? A minimum of 10years experience within a senior credit administrations function.
? Experience and understanding of dealing with loan facilitation.
? Knowledge of regulations and legislation surrounding key business areas.
? Experience of managing employee relations and performance matters
? Working knowledge of T24 Arrangement Architecture (AA) functionality.
? Degree or Equivalent
? Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, and PowerPoint
