Our client, a bank based in London is hiring a Regulatory Reporting specialist on a Temp basis (may go perm) to join them.
Summary of what the role delivers for the business
Responsible for producing all regulatory reporting and maintaining regulatory policies & procedures.
Support the business in all aspects of the financial and regulatory reporting function of the bank.
Assist with all regulatory reporting projects, including automation and continual development.
Duties:
Accurately prepare and submit on a timely basis all regulatory reporting to Bank of England, FCA & PRA using RegData, BEEDS and OSCA.
Produce & maintain appropriate interpretations, policies & procedures for all regulatory returns.
Support current regulatory reporting automation process through to completion and maintain the automation process to ensure accuracy of reporting.
Conduct periodic reviews of in-scope regulatory returns.
Provide required data for monthly ALCO pack where required.
Assist with preparation of ILAAP & ICAAP.
Assist the business in budget preparation, specifically in regards to key regulatory requirement scenario testing.
Support financial forecasting and modelling for stress testing, capital and liquidity planning.
Assist with the preparation of the regulatory aspects of the annual statutory accounts and pillar 3 disclosures.
Produce and submit relevant management information to senior management & the Board.
Reconcile and maintain control of all risk participation sales / purchases, as well as CRM and ensure correct regulatory reporting. Support external and internal audit process.
Any other work allocated by the Bank.
Skills and Experience
Knowledge and understanding of regulatory returns including COREP, FINREP, PRA 110, and the underlying rulesets.

years of experience of regulatory reporting, preferably capital reporting, in a UK bank.
Understanding of bank accountancy and finance (IFRS)
Familiarity with current banking rules, regulations and requirements (ILAAP, ICAAP)
Experience and knowledge of RegData, VERMEG, Regnology or other regulatory reporting software
Strong understanding of data principals and data analysis techniques.
Coding experience, particularly in SQL and VBA would be preferred.
