LME Processing and Risk analyst

Our client is hiring a LME processing and Risk analyst ? Operations to join their team. The role involves managing post-trade operations across global markets, ensuring timely and accurate trade processing and maintaining strong operational controls. The successful candidate will play a critical part in mitigating operational risk and delivering exceptional client service. Responsibilities ? To ensure timely and accurate clearing of tradesinto client accounts. ? Investigate and resolve same day clearing exceptions promptly. ? Investigate and resolve T 1 trade breaks across all Global Markets. ? Perform all applicable post-trade operations within the role. ? Deliver efficient and high-quality service to all clients. ? Escalate immediately any potential operational risk issues that could impact the company financially, regulatorily, or reputationally. ? Evaluate and implement system enhancements or innovative technology solutions. ? Ensure adherence to all processes and controls, reviewing them regularly for effectiveness. ? Collaborate closely with the trading desk to escalate and resolve trade exceptions promptly. ? Ensure adherence to all processes and controls, reviewing them regularly for effectiveness. Essential Skills ? Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a clearing role. ? Knowledge of either LME market and LME trade flow or Global Futures & Options markets and trade processing. ? Experience using LME SMART and (ATEO) LISA, or an equivalent top-day matching platforms and exchange GUIs. ? Excellent understanding of Operational Risk.
