Our client, a bank based in London is hiring two full-time Financial Accountants to join their team on permanent basis. This role has a focus on providing accurate and insightful financial reporting to meet statutory, business and regulatory requirements
Responsibilities:
? Delivery of accurate financial reporting, for both management and statutory accounts
? Partner with and support the business with analysis and insight for business performance and strategy.
? Enhancing the control environment and implementation of internal audit and management letter points.
? Provide ad hoc IFRS and other accounting opinions on relevant topics that may arise.
? Assistance with projects including implementation of new products and services, system changes and updates.
? Ensuring Tax returns are completed accurately and on a timely basis.
? Assistance in managing internal and external audit requests.
? Support the Head of Finance by carrying out reasonable instructions in relation to the wider business objectives.
Skills and Experience
? Accountancy qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA-
? Experience with statutory and management accounts.
? Experience in managing audits and month end reporting processes.
