Were recruiting a Commercial Advisor to join a well established financial banking institution, working alongside the Corporate & Commercial Banking team, to work in as an Investment Advisor in Birmingham office on a hybrid basis 3 days a week in the office. Candidate must be qualified to Level 4 Financial Planning diploma valid for FCA activity 4
As a Commercial Advisor youll be working with customers looking to invest for at least five years or more, providing them with clear informed advice about their investment options.
Responsibilities include but are not limited:
? Providing regulated investment advice to help clients meet their objectives.
? Identifying potential new customers in need of this Service.
? Demonstrating deep understanding of wider financial affairs and financial products to ensure that knowledge is comprehensive, and client focused.
? Maintaining up to date and compliant records to ensure relevant internal standards and external regulatory requirements are observed.
Skills and knowledge
? Proven skills in providing investment advice and delivering an outstanding customer experience
? A good knowledge and understanding of wider financial markets, with exposure to the full range of banking products and financial planning industry
? A Level 4 Financial Planning diploma valid for FCA activity 4 (giving personal recommendations on retail investment products)
? Investment Market and Product Knowledge
? Financial Software navigation skills
? Regulatory and compliance knowledge, specifically consumer duty
? Relationship Management
? Communication and Influencing Skills
? Proactive and dynamic approach to change
